Incredible $30 Cartography Software Bundle Is a Online Gaming GM's Dream

After a brief run earlier this year, the Map Making Mega Bundle has returned with an encore available through early December. Described as an extensive collection of mapping tools created by ProFantasy Software over the years, the entire collection carries a value of over $1,300. Primary Feature

The big draw is definitely permanent access for Campaign Cartographer 3+, a professional-grade mapping application which enables users to create everything from fantasy overworld maps, detailed regional charts, city maps, and most notably, dungeon and tabletop battle maps.

Basic Package

The most affordable option, at a minimum cost of $1, features merely four of the 39 total items: Symbol Set 1: Fantasy Overland, Monster Token Pack 1, Source Maps: Castles!, Urban Source Maps. This package suits existing CC3+ users, but it does offer fresh fantasy design elements for overworld maps, more than 750 monster tokens for use in virtual tabletops, more than two dozen aerial castle designs with 470 associated map tokens, eight fully mapped cities, plus seventy-plus building interiors.

Intermediate Package

The eight-item bundle for at least $15 offers enhanced value through inclusion of permanent CC3+ access, Cartographer's Annual Vol 1, Ultimate Mapping Guidebook, and Symbol Set 6: Isometric Cities. The Annual represents the yearly bundle from ProFantasy's long-running monthly subscription service which includes multiple CC3+ enhancements like map collections and various other tools. Isometric Cities lets you present urban areas in 3D perspective using angled views from all sides. Meanwhile, the Mapping Tome comprises 760 pages for beginners and "power users" alike, packed with guidance and instructions covering cartography techniques.

At thirty versus fifteen dollars, the full bundle offers tremendous value, especially for cartographers with temporary CC3+ access seeking permanent licensing. However, it's clearly more advantageous for map-making newbies considering you even get the beginners' tutorials to help you get started. The one caveat here though the purchase is available across platforms, the applications only function with Windows systems.
