Intensive Russian Assaults Eliminate Power Throughout Kyiv

Energy infrastructure under attack in Ukraine
Ukraine's energy systems have come under escalating strikes in the past few days

Overnight, Moscow's missile and drone strikes have led to blackouts in multiple districts of Ukraine's capital, the Ukrainian capital.

A number of civilians were hurt while local people in the city's east were left without electricity and dealt with disruption to water systems, per reports from local authorities.

Simultaneously, a minor was killed in a separate aerial attack in the southeastern region in the southeastern part, according to local officials.

Moscow has intensified strikes on electrical systems over the last fortnight, while the country's government has called for "substantial measures" from partner nations to apply pressure on Moscow.

"What is required is not window dressing but firm measures - from the America, European nations and the major economies - in providing protection systems and enforcing penalties," was stated in a public message.

He said that 450 drones and over thirty projectiles attacked the country's power systems, labeling such assaults as "cynical and calculated" and against "essential services" as temperatures become colder.

The energy minister said Russia was "conducting extensive attacks" and maintenance teams were working to repair systems.

A wave of strikes hit energy infrastructure and civilian homes in the capital.

Multiple people wounded in the attacks on the capital have been hospitalized, according to municipal representatives.

Local officials said the metropolitan region came under significant strikes overnight. A minor died and three other people were injured.

The strikes follow evenings of bombing campaigns in the area, sections of which are currently controlled by invading troops.

The whole nation is under warning for hypersonic Kinzhal missile strikes, which are tougher to spot.

National leaders told the media that Moscow was purposely seeking to demolish the national power system, with strikes already impacting fuel infrastructure.

Authorities confirmed energy workers and officials were preparing for more assaults.
